For 13 years The Blood Knights existed as an Alliance guild on Silver Hand. However, as with everything, change is inevitable. Over the span of the guilds life we’ve grown and shrunk, excelled and fell short but through it all we have endured. Stubbornly I ignored the fact that Silver Hands population, along with its connected realms, was dwindling, especially the Alliance. Recruiting became stagnant, and members just weren’t logging in or decided to venture off to other interests. We maintained the ability to raid and were able to clear normal Tomb but due to lacking numbers and personal schedules we were never quite ready for the jump to heroic.
I toyed with the idea of a server transfer for a week or two before bringing it up to the officers. The response was better than I hoped and most of them were more than willing to jump servers. When all was said and done the decision was made to go Horde (finally!) and to take up residence on the server Thrall. Enough members made the journey to nearly complete a 10 man raid group and we’ve picked up a couple others along the way. Recruiting is still a bit slow, but understandable, this server is a much higher population with more guilds to choose from and we’re still the new kids on the block. We will continue to press forward with eyes set on Antorus normal and heroic.
